Oklahoma DECA was organized in 1944 with the national organization following in 1947. Oklahoma DECA was officially chartered in 1948.

Mission Statement

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high school and colleges around the globe

DECA enhances the co-curricular education of members through a comprehensive learning program that integrates into classroom instruction, applies learning, connects to business and promotes competition.

DECA’s activities assist in the development of academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders.

Oklahoma DECA serves students from middle school and beyond, offering competitive events, conferences, and leadership opportunities to students all around the state.
